QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

How do we plan a Senior Session?

We typically meet at the studio to talk through ideas, your interests, clothing, location options and schedule a date! This helps to make sure the photos reflect your individual style and we are well prepared on the day.

How many outfits do Seniors wear?

Between 2 and 5 outfits. I love catching a variety of looks. I think it is a perfect opportunity to have fun with clothes but we'll make sure to capture mom's favorite outfit too.

Do you ever photograph friends together?

Yes! This can be a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate birthdays or graduation. Some Seniors have friends meet us for the last 15 minutes of their individual session.

How many proofs can we expect from one session? Are they retouched?

You can expect 60- 100 proofs. For Teen and Family sessions, I edit and retouch every shot before I send them to you but often do additional retouching to your favorite shots that we print or use in albums.

When is the best time to take Senior Photos?

July, August, September and October are the most popular months in Seattle. For Seniors who don't need them for yearbook, we often take Spring photos in time for Graduation.

Do parents come to the Senior photo session?

Parents and siblings are always welcome but most choose to join us at the end of the session for some family photos. I often bring an assistant on the shoot to help everything run smoothly.
